Research Center Goal
The Research Center is established as a representative office of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.in Russia with the purpose of development of scientific and technological relations with Russian research organizations and coordination of joint works in the field of advanced electronic technologies. In order to improve the quality of cooperation with governmental and academic research organizations in Russia and to increase the working efficiency, the representative office is accredited with the Russian Federation Ministry of Science and Technologies.
Research Center tasks

• execution of functions as the scientific and technological representative office of the company;
• maintenance and development of relations with governmental and scientific authorities in Russia for the purposes of coordination of research work;
• analysis of trends and guidelines in development of advanced electronics;
• prior evaluation of new Russian technologies;
• improvement of business contacts with the authors of promising technologies;
• estimation of the possibilities for cooperation in R&D and commercialization of the research results;
• assistance to the representatives of the company divisions in elaboration and conclusion of contracts for joint research works;
• search for and evaluation of the qualified specialists who could be employed by Samsung;
• information and administrative support of joint research and development works;
• monitoring of realization of contracts and keeping business correspondence.
