Effectively manage contractual targets and KPI’s within budget.
Drive productivity levels and operational improvements.
Plan and manage resources to meet operational requirements.
Develop and maintain excellent relationships with the customer
Ensure compliance with H&S legislation.
Inventory management- review results, identify discrepancies and report to the site senior team and the customer, where necessary, identifying areas for improvement.
Liaise with the customer to ensure stock issues reach a satisfactory conclusion, within timescales.
Set up systems to investigate customer claims and rejections to satisfactory conclusion within timescales.
Plan, agree and implement enhanced procedures and working methods to improve stock accuracy.
Stock reconciliation discrepancies compare and investigation of discrepancies.
Monitor and manage stock takes, stock audits and stock moves.
Working closely with the Operations Management team, ensuring that the correct processes and use of systems are in place.
To manage, motivate and develop the inventory team
Encourage and develop direct reports to ensure the company culture is experienced at all levels.
Provision of accurate statistical data as and when required both internally and externally.
Challenging existing practices and developing innovative methods to exceed KPI’s.
Requirements:
Higher education
Advanced PC User
Fluent English
German is a big plus
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills coupled with strong influencing ability
Proven people management skills
Minimum two years experience in a similar management role
Management of budget and costs within set targets and deadlines
Excellent understanding of all aspects of operational logistics
